Dr. Edwin Tarno, PhD, HSC, CEO Kenya School of TVET, proudly highlighted the TVET institutions progress in advancing Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) programs during the closing ceremony of the 13th Annual International Conference. “To support the expansion of CBET programs, the Kenya School of TVET has successfully led the training of trainers. So far, we have trained 7,000 lecturers, and we are committed to training an additional 2,500 in the next phase to ensure we continue to address the skills gap,”he remarked.

Today 18th October,2024 during the Award Ceremony 'Ladha za Africa' at Boma Hotel International College (BHIC) ,Derrick Odhiambo a trainee at the department of Hospitality and Institutional Management won the award of the student mixologist of the year with a full scholarship at BHIC.
And Mr.Albert Odula a trainer at the department won the best Faculty Mentor Award
