Today, 29th October 2025, the Chief Principal, Dr. Charles Koech, OGW, joined the Principal Secretary for TVET, Dr. Esther Thaara Muoria, together with officials from KATTI, to inaugurate two flagship events at Kenya Coast National Polytechnic i.e. the KATTI National Term II Ball Games and the National Skills, Innovation, and Robotics Competitions. In her address, the Chief Guest emphasized the importance of the TVET sector in creating space for creativity and championing innovative strategies across all relevant industrial sectors.

 The Eldoret National Polytechnic (TENP) has expressed its deep sorrow following the passing of former Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who was confirmed dead early this morning while receiving medical treatment in India.

In his opening remarks,Chief Principal Dr. Charles Koech OGW expressed pride in the institution’s outstanding achievements, noting that The Eldoret National Polytechnic is the first institution in Kenya to officially launch the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) program. He further highlighted the polytechnic’s continued excellence in academics, co-curricular activities, and innovation.

The Principal Secretary for TVET, Dr. Esther Thaara Muoria, represented by Hon. Frank Mukuna, delivered a powerful address during the 14th Annual International Research Conference at The Eldoret National Polytechnic (TENP), highlighting the government’s commitment to transforming Kenya’s technical training landscape through flexible and practical learning models. Dr. Muoria, through her representative, reaffirmed that the Ministry of Education continues to roll out the Modular Curriculum Program, a flexible framework designed to equip trainees with full employable skills within six months.

Today 9th October 2025 at TENP Customer service week was Crowned with an engagement of our Stakeholders . Board of Directors Ketraco ,CEO and staff, EPRA DG and staff from KPLC North Rift graced the event.
Also present were  staff and trainees from  academic departments in their full training gears.

The Eldoret National Polytechnic marked Mazingira Day through three impactful environmental conservation initiatives:

David Chepkangor (Linkages and International Partnerships / Trainer Learning Center Coordinator) 
was today (8th October 2025) honored to represent the Chief Principal Dr. Charles Koech at the crucial KOICA/GIZ Project Workshop on the Promotion of Employment for Women and Green Industry. The project was officially launched by Dr. Esther Mworia - PS TVET at the Movenpick Hotel Nairobi. The discussions were highly insightful, focusing on how we can strategically integrate green skills and empower women in the TVET sector.
