On 21st March 2026, The Eldoret National Polytechnic partnered with Kenya Forest Service to mark the 2026 International Day of Forests.

The event took place at Paul Boit High School, Turbo Subcounty, Uasin Gishu.

Led by Kenya Forest Service, the celebrations were held under the theme " Forests and Economies ". Which highlights the crucial role forests play in driving economic prosperity and supporting livelihoods.

Partners present included KEFRI, NGAO, NYS, KDF, KENHA, RVTTI, AIRAD, and others.

This emphasises the commitment of TENP to climate action and sustainability.
